Fiona Marie Ring Østensvig

With over two decades in the technology sector, Fiona has proven her expertise in quality assurance of IT systems and project management. As a strategic thinker with a passion for technology, she has a unique ability to align IT solutions with end-user needs and organizational objectives. This often involves a degree of product prioritization to achieve the goals of the work.

Fiona is an experienced professional advisor and mentor to her colleagues, particularly in the areas of system product development and quality assurance. This has given her extensive experience in team development and recognizing individual contributions in the workplace, often resulting in a positive culture and efficient collaboration.

Fiona has held key roles in some of the Nordic region’s most ambitious IT projects, including the development of Norway’s largest e-health platforms and pension systems. Based on these complex deliveries, Fiona has demonstrated a risk-based approach to her work.

Her work experience, roles, and commitment to and knowledge of the testing field have also earned her a position on the board of Software Testing at the Norwegian Computer Society. Fiona has also been involved in creating Testdagen Odin, which is Norway’s largest software testing conference with 500 participants.
