What we do / Enterprise Architecture
Enterprise Architecture
We at Gritera believe that a well-thought-out and good architecture is a prerequisite for being able to achieve both rapid value creation and solutions characterized by good performance and high quality. We also see architecture as the key to ensuring the development of solutions that, in addition to being good in use, are easy to operate and maintain.
Is this something your organization needs help with?
Land of opportunity
A good architecture is the basis for well-functioning IT services that work together to meet current and future business needs. This requires that business and technology are viewed in conjunction, and not developed independently of each other.
Any controlled change requires knowing where you stand and where you want to be. Lack of vision – related to both business and technology – creates a high risk of unwanted development. A vision and a target architecture that is known and accepted in the organization, on the other hand, is like an invisible rubber band that pulls development in the desired direction.
Gritera has architects with a high level of competence in architecture. We can cover various needs related to enterprise architecture, cloud architecture and solution architecture. In addition, we have specialist expertise in capability-based planning.
Experienced IT Architects
Gritera's IT architects have good knowledge of and experience with central frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachmann, SAFe, Less, ITIL and capability-based planning.
However, our focus is not on the framework, but on business value.

Some services we offer in IT Architecture:
Enterprise architecture
Our consultants can carry out an evaluation of the current architectural function, as well as propose concrete improvement measures. We can also assist throughout the entire change process related to introducing or improving the architecture function.
Our business architects can also assist as technical advisers in procurement processes.
Cloud architecture
Our cloud architects have knowledge of, and experience with, cloud platforms far beyond setting up infrastructure. The aim of using cloud solutions is to ensure the best possible value for the users and the organisation. This requires knowledge of the entire ecosystem with services and tools, various license and cost models, as well as knowledge of security setups.
Our cloud architects have experience in how an organization can facilitate automation and self-service for development teams, which we at Gritera think are important success factors to ensure rapid value creation. In addition, our architects can advise on how and where tailoring should be implemented when the system landscape consists of one or more cloud applications.
Solution architecture
Gritera can offer experienced solution architects who map the current situation and prepare a target architecture. Our skilled solution architects describe and estimate which changes contribute to closing the gaps between the current architecture and the target architecture. Our architects take current processes as a starting point and prepare proposals for new processes together with both the business and IT side of the organisation. Most of our architects have experience with domain-driven design, information architecture, microservices, integrations and master data solutions.
Our architects are happy to contribute in an early phase of change, when a company has an idea that something can be improved or a new business area is to be established. We see that our architects generate the most value when they follow the entire change process, from needs mapping until new processes are implemented in a new system landscape.
Capability based planning
Our consultants can use capacity-based planning to focus on what a company needs to be able to do instead of how. A good overview of what capabilities an organization must have in order to achieve its overall goals will be a powerful tool when identifying and prioritizing projects.
