Svein Bekkevold

Svein has 10+ years of experience in IT technology and information security. The lion's share of his career is from the defense sector, where he has worked, among other things, in the Norwegian Cyber ​​Force, the Norwegian Intelligence Service and the Ministry of Defense.

In his role as Head of Information Security/CISO for both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and the Norwegian Customs, he has led the organisation's strategy for information security and ensured that premises are set, advise in the field and control compliance with laws and regulations.

Svein is certified in ISO 27001 for information security management and ISO 27005 for information security risk management. Furthermore, he is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and has a number of courses within the field. His main areas are implementation of security frameworks, IT security audits and maturity assessments of information security and general consultancy within information security management/Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
