Baste has over ten years of experience assisting Norway’s largest companies in creating value from their data, with strong expertise in data & analytics, combined with business acumen as a graduate in economics from NHH.

He has extensive experience leading teams and projects to successful outcomes using agile principles, and has been an advisor in areas such as data strategy, cloud migration of data warehouses, DevOps, and D&A organization. In most projects, he has contributed hands-on as a team leader, data/BI/ML engineer, and architect.

Baste has in-depth knowledge of banking and insurance after completing numerous projects in the sector with Norway’s most professional players. He has delivered added value by combining deep technical expertise with business understanding, for example in projects involving new accounting standards, regulatory reporting requirements, or insurance pricing.
